Cameraman Attacked as Trump Whips Up Anti-Media Hate

Last night at President Trump's Build-a-Wall Rally in El Paso, TX, a red-MAGA hatted supporter tried to violently attack a cameraman from the British Broadcasting Co. after Trump, as usual, complained about the "fake news" media, which he frequently labels "The Enemy of the People."

As he was restrained, the man screamed "F**k the media! "F**k the media!"

Eleanor Montague, the BBC's Washington News Editor, said in a tweet that the El Paso crowd had been "whipped up into a frenzy against the media by Trump and other speakers all night."

The BBC's Washington correspondent Gary O'Donoghue described the incident as "an incredibly violent attack."

Apparently aware the incident had occurred, Trump looked towards the press pen and asked if everybody was OK. Nice. Kind of him to show such concern.

This is just the latest anti-media attack that can be directly attributed to Trump's hateful and irresponsible rhetoric. He apparently won't be satisfied until some reporter or camera person is seriously injured or even killed simply because they were doing their job.

The media IS NOT THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.

The media's job is to report what is happening and to find the truth, not to be Trump's puppet or PR arm. That becomes increasingly difficult considering the truth is a foreign commodity to this president.

If anyone is "the enemy of the people," it is the orange buffoon who masquerades as the president of the United States and whips up divisions, fear and hate like no president in the history of our country.
