Fed Up

A couple of incidents late this week clearly illustrate just how fed up many Americans are with Donald Trump and his butt-kissing political supporters.

Perhaps the funniest came at the expense of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Trump sycophant and Dr. Anthony Fauci antagonist, whom Fauci told in a hearing the other day that he didn't know what he was talking about. Yesterday, So, like a dog that refuses to let go of his bone, Paul sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department accusing President Biden's top infectious disease expert of lying to Congress.

Yea, I'm sure Biden's Justice Department will get right on that.

Paul has been targeting Fauci over his actions involving the Covid 19 pandemic response, most recently claiming that the National Institutes of Health funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which Fauci denied under oath. Paul says the U.S. paid for virus research, which resulted in a leak that caused the pandemic and killed more than 4 million people worldwide, 610,000 in the U.S.

Well, retorted Fauci, "if anybody is lying here, senator, it is you."

However, Paul's effort to boost his political creds with his campaign against Fauci is not going over with at least some of his constituents In Kentucky. Apparently, not everyone there believes Trump's BS.

At a town hall conducted by Paul, a constituent named Alexis Toon called in and said, "I'm a proud citizen of Kentucky, and I just want to tell you to get f*cked."

Hello! My bet is that some Paul staffer is gonna get fired for letting that caller through!

Meanwhile, in Livingston, MT, right-wing nutcase Fox News host Tucker Carlson received similar treatment, although not profane, from a local fishing guide, Dan Bailey, after he walked into a sporting goods store to purchase fly fishing gear.

"Dude, you are the worst human being known to mankind," Bailey told Carlson. "I want you to know that."

"I appreciate that," replied Carlson. (Click on the pic for the video.)

Enough! Enough of spreading The Big Lie. Enough of spreading misinformation about the vaccine and causing people to die. Stop being irresponsible simply to get ratings and make money. You're despicable, and people are sick of it all.

Now, to quote Stephen Colbert, here's another "Meanwhile..."

In Arizona, where that phony election recount is underway, Trump repeated his whines about the election. But before the "Rally to Save Our Elections" in Phoenix, where he spoke, Secretary of State Katie Hobbs laid him out cold and said he should get over it.

"This is nothing more than being a sore loser," she said. “Take your loss and accept it and move on.”

If only.
