By a margin of 32-10 with four undecided, Not Fake News readers who responded to this week's poll want to see Congress move to impeach President Trump.
It was a fairly simple question, but of course, the considerations determining a response aren't quite so simple. For one thing, as much as respondents might want Trump gone, they realize that such a move, if successful, would put Vice President Pence in the Oval Office.

I for one would like to se fewer posts on how awful HE is...we all know that...and more posts on what we can actually DO to effect change in 2020. Impeachment only gets us Pence & he’s just as dangerous in different ways...maybe more so. He’s not crazy & he is focused & knows exactly what he wants...a Gilead-like country. That would be worse than living with this unhinged lunatic who will eventually self-destruct.
I would rather see Congress censure him which from what I understand leaves the door wide open to charges once he’s out of office.

I like those 2 cents and pretty much agree with them -- but every time Trump takes another action that threatens our nation, like wiping out environmental regulations and opening up federal lands to fossil fuel exploitation, or plays kissy face with Putin, I want to hit that impeachment button with a vengeance.
Can't wait for November 2020.
